Winner of a 2013 Philadelphia Rising Stars Artisan Award from StarChefs, Sara May has originated, written, and developed recipes for Bon Appetit, Imbibe magazine, Easy Eats magazine, Redbook, and been featured on Martha Stewart television. A graduate of the National Gourmet Institute, Sara has a penchant for fresh local ingredients, simple food, and modern twists on classic recipes. She has been a pastry chef at Franklin Fountain, Little Nonna’s, and Aldine, as well as working the pastry station at Vedge. Sara currently masterminds the rotating collection of soft serve ice cream by day and the steam kettles by night at Bing Bing Dim Sum. When she’s not roaming Philly in search of the perfect slice of pizza, she's relaxing in the park with her lazy greyhound, Hyde.
